Medical Appointment No Show / Late Policy
We schedule our appointments so that each patient receives the right amount of time to be seen by our physician and staff. That’s why it is very important that you keep your scheduled appointment with us, and arrive on time.
As a courtesy, and to help patients remember their scheduled appointments, Michael Ducato MD PC calls each patient to confirm their appointment the day before.
If your schedule changes and you cannot keep your appointment, please contact us so we may reschedule you, and accommodate those patients who are waiting for an appointment. As a courtesy to our office as well as to those patients who are waiting to schedule with the physician, please give us at least 24 hours notice.
Effective August 1, 2020, any patient who fails to cancel or reschedule their appointment with at least 24 hours notice, will be charged a $25 “no-show” fee. This “no-show” fee is not reimbursable by insurance, and you will be billed directly for it.
After three no-shows to your appointment, our practice may decide to terminate its relationship with you.
Additionally, we would like to remind you that if you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment the doctor may not be able to see you, and you may be asked to reschedule for another day.
We understand that there are times when an unforeseen emergency occurs and you are not able to keep your appointment. If you should experience such circumstances please call us as soon as possible so that we can accommodate your situation. You may contact our office during normal business hours or leave a message at any time at (734) 676-6644.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
